early spring baseball tournaments

What: Norcest is hosting a early spring competative tournament.

Where: The tournament is to be played in Taber/MIlk River.

When:  U10 - April 25-27; U11 - May 2-4; U12 - May 9-11

Registration:  The entry fee for each team will be $460 plus a dozen baseballs. Registration can be done thru norcrestlittleleague@gmail.com. Please indicate the team name as well as at least 2 contacts. Also indicate what level would be your first choice to compete at.  Registration ends on April 20. 

For Whom:   Norcrest plays at the A and AA level, regarding Little League Alberta competition, in respect to the fore-mentioned age groups.   This tournament is open to this level of players.  As well, our tournament will fit Little League Canada age brackets.   e.g  A U10 player can turn 11, in 2025, but it cannot be before September 1.

Format:  Once the final number of teams have commited We will decide on a format. However we will try to keep the innings for all teams to between 20-25. There will be a 5 run rule in effect. The Little League Alberta pitch count will be in effect USSSA bats will not be allowed for competition. If we get over 8 teams interested we will look into pooling teams.

Other notes:  Once a Taber host hotel is secured we will update this post with that information. We will attempt to keep stays for each team to one night only if possible. Any questions call 403-894-0528.
